2009 Audited Financial Statements

The Town of Clarenville is pleased to report that its 2009 audited Financial Statements as audited by the firm of Belanger Clarke Follett & McGettigan, and adopted at a meeting of Council on August 30, 2010 are now available online. 

It is a requirement of Department of Municipal Affairs that the Financial Statement of 2009 be done in accordance with the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB). ·  Council reserves the right to take action on all current years taxes not    paid by June 30th of each year, with the exception of water and sewer    taxes which may be paid monthly
·  Compound interest will be charged on arrears at 5% above prime at    January 1, 2012
·  Interest on 2012 taxes effective April 1, 2012 - Poll Tax July 1st, 2012.
·  Seniors/Pensioners & Low Income Families will be exempt from interest    on place of residence only for current taxes until November 30, 2012,    upon application to the Town and subject to criteria as set out in the    "Exemption From Interest" policy.
