  RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
 Clarenville Stadium
Clarenville Stadium has a floor/ice surface of 85 feet by 185 feet offering a wide variety of recreational programs including ice hockey, figure skating, curling, dances, concerts, fairs and exhibitions and many other special events. Efforts are ongoing to replace this stadium with a new Event Centre - Click Here For Information

 Ballfields
Clarenville has 3 well-maintained softball fields, one of which is lit for night games. Some activities organized for these fields include minor softball, minor baseball, and recreational slo-pitch softball. Each year these fields play host to dozens of tournaments by area residents, school teams and recreational leagues.

 Tennis & Basketball Court

Clarenville provides regulation-size public tennis courts in the center of town. The courts are are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tennis court usage is free. Ajacent to the Tennis Court is a outdoor Basketball Court. This court is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Basketball Court usage is free.

 Soccer Field

In the summer of 2006 Clarenville offically opened a new Soccer Field located behind the Clarenville Middle School. Three soccer games are able to be played on this field at one time with regulation size nets. The new soccer field is host to the Minor Soccer Association.

 Parks & Playgrounds

Elizabeth Swan Memorial Park is named after one of the provinces foremost figure skating pioneers. The park features picnic / barbecue facilities, a playground and a lighted ball field.
Throughout the Town, residents can enjoy an extensive network of playgrounds in residential areas and school settings.



 Skate Board Parks

The Clarenville Skateboard Parks have something for everyone, regardless of age or skill level. The Parks are paved and include rails, quarter pipes and pamps. The hours are stated as daylight hours only and admission to the parks is free.

In addition to the recreational facilities owned by the town, private sector businesses offer other recreational activities such as bowling, swimming, yoga, fitness centers and dance classes.
