Last year, the first Old-Fashioned Christmas Time was a big hit so it's back again on Thursday, December 13 at 6:30 at the Clarenville High School. Admission is free but please bring along a non-perishable food item for the food bank.
Enjoy the talent of our town residents and take part in the mummer contest. The kids will love the grab bags and the visit by Old Saint Nick himself!
Mummers can register at 6:15 at the main entrance of the Clarenville High School. Prizes of $100 will be awarded for most spirited mummer and most unique outfit. If you would like to perform during the concert, please call 466-7937 to register (space is limited!).

The Clarenville Lions Club Santa Claus Parade will
take place on Saturday, December 8th (Sunday, December 9th in the event of bad weather) at 10:00AM.

Lighting of the Town Tree and Bare Mountain Star |

On (Rescheduled to December 3rd at 6:30) in front of the Town Hall, the Christmas Tree and Bare Mountain Star will be lit! This family event will include music by the Salvation Army Band and a carol sing-a-long. Hot chocolate and cookies served by the Fire Department will help to keep you nice and toasty! Please bring along a nonperishable food item for the Salvation Army Food Bank. |
Poster Contest for Grade 3's |

Grade 3 students in Balbo Elementary and Clarenville
Primary School are invited to take part in a poster contest. In 10 years, grade 3s will be graduating from high school. We want you to think about what you like about Clarenville now and what you would like Clarenville to look like in 10 years from now. Draw a picture of what you want Clarenville to look like. There will be a prize winner from Balbo and one from CPS. The winners will be invited to turn the switch on to light the Town Christmas Tree and the star on Bare Mountain on December 2. Posters must be
submitted to the Town Hall by
Friday, November 30. |
